Differences..

A story of love and innocence, family virtues  and country life. A story that demonstrates how jealous eyes can cause catastrophic events, with families being torn apart and some being pushed to the edge. .

Could one love conquer all? Is love really the answer?

Let Differences offer you a perspective.

Available from Amazon, in paperback or on Kindle.

Information

It is my hope that I  can tell stories that keep the reader interested. It isn't my intension to make an emphasis on detail, such as wallpaper and where someone might have bought a carpet. For me, it's all about the story and the characters - who i want the readers be happy with - even to be angry against. I want you to laugh, to be intrigued , I even want you to cry. Basically, it is my intension to make you bond with some of the characters and want to climb into the pages to have  a word with others, putting them right. I hope I succeed in this.

Reviews are encouraging, lets hope that this website can help me to reach out to more of you out there and hopefully, entertain you.

If you buy my book, and, if you like it or not, please leave a review. Even bad ones help. Like the old adage says. ' You can't fix it, if you don't know it's broken." You can chat on the email too, if you like. I will reply, even if it takes me a while.

Take care and happy reading.

Mike Tamblin is my real name, no pseudonym. I'm retired, having spent most of my life driving lorries and vans all over the country and a substantial part of Europe. In fact, travel has featured majorly, in my life. I've made several visits to NZ and Australia and travelled socially in many other countries of this ever decreasing world.

I live my life in a relatively small village in south-east Cornwall. Its a lovely spot to be. Although, Great Britain has many 'lovely spots that I'm thankful to have visited. Where I live may come as surprise, to those who read my book and realise the setting. I'm not sure why I chose west Yorkshire. But why not? I did spend my school years in a village near Chesterfield. They were good times too.

Services

I'm not a big reader, would rather create. However books that I have read and enjoyed, over fairly recent years are;

All the Light We Cannot see, by Anthony Doer. Simply brilliant.

Someone Else, by Alison Huntingford.

A big story  in so few pages. Amazing.

No Country For Old Men, by Cormac McCarthy.

A writer  I will endeavour  to emulate. His no nonsense story telling that flows rapidly from one scene to the next. As if daring the reader to put the book down.
